THE PB&J STRATEGY CAN WORK FOR YOUR BUSINESS

RIGHT NOW!

On September 28th, 2022, 150-mph winds hit the outer islands of Fort Myers. Hurricane Ian quickly became one of the worst storms in US history. Victims of the storm needed essentials, with food being at the top of the list. Enter PB&Js.
Making PB&J sandwiches for di
saster victims may sound silly, but hear me out: making those sandwiches was really smart. In these pages, I’ll tell you why, and I’ll also explain how an 80-person business made and delivered 25,000 PB&J sandwiches to victims who urgently needed meals.

In just five days, our office created a sophisticated operation. We had to put exactly the right elements into place to make the campaign work: a name, a purpose, a business plan, marketing materials, PR pitches, a website, physical materials, and deliveries. And all while running our ordinary business! A month before, if you’d asked me how long that would take, I would have said six months to a year.
Given our astonishing successes, we thought, why not look at other aspects of our business? Could we apply those same valuable lessons elsewhere?

This true story includes a step-by-step breakdown of how our company recognized and tackled a problem and accomplished our goal. We realized that the lessons of the PB&J Strategy should be deployed not only in instances of disaster but during the regular course of the year. Each year. These lessons should be embraced and implemented by anyone in business, sales, disaster relief, human resources, or charitable organizations.

THE PB&J STRATEGY WILL NOT ONLY CHANGE YOUR BUSINESS, IT WILL CHANGE YOUR WORLD!
